The following description of phases can be subject of discussions for separate or distinct missions according to the Client targets

 


PHASE I.

1/ Geographical delimitation

• Ground and underground topography

• Hydrology and water analysis

• Physico-chemical and bacteriological analysis

2/ General working conditions on the site

• Analysis of the general pollution

• Rejects of effluents

• Easements, access, height, noise, esthetic etc.

• Connections with existing networks (roads, sewage, telephone)

• Listing. of availability of energy : power, gas, industrial fluids to adjust inside supplies and equipment

3/ Building layout

•The building will be layed out and divided into three sections and partitions according to machinery and production specifications. (see 5 below)

4/ Equipment of the plant (other than technical)

• Administration

• Laboratory

• Maintenance

• Security

• General services, restaurant, infirmary

5/ Technological specifications

• Manufacturing program

• Nature of product

• Output capacity and size of equipment

• Quality standards and specifications of the product

• Regulations and standards to comply with

• Raw material: characteristics, quality, analysis, cost, nature, availability

 


PHASE II.

1/ Description

• General list of components

• Catalogue of components unit by unit

• Plans, drawings

2/ Definition of capacities

• Ratios of raw material consumption

• Consumption of energy, fluids, other ingredients

• Operating staff definition

• Recuperation of by-products

3/ Investment estimation

• Process research and selection

• Machinery selection with respect of defined outputs

• Specifications for tenders

 


PHASE III.

1/ Before plant construction

• Updating of preliminary surveys

• Establishment of coordination : Client - Engineering - Suppliers

• Procedure and documents circuits

• Control of payment procedures

• Finalizing of technical documents

• Final selection of equipment

• Specifications; machinery orders

2/ Plant construction

• Planning, organization and management of the building site

• Coordination of contractors

• Following up and control works

• Reception and control test of machinery

• Starting up and fine tuning

• Selection and training of staff

What concerns our intervention on the building site, the following is to be pointed out more precisely :

A/ Site recognition to avoid delays

• Preliminary mission to determine access from a technical point of view

• General check up of local conditions

B/ Site organization

• Road access

• General service: telephone, water, electricity etc

• Security and caretaking

• Consumption generated by the site

• Work progress and coordination of all parties

C/ Starting up operations

Starting up of the factory will be operated progressively from minor pieces of equipment to major ones

• Leakproof tests

• Check up of all connections and wiring

• Slow motion operation, section by section

• Control of efforts and physical charges

• Automatic devices check up and operation
